University student joins Venture on one year placement

University of Surrey student Artur Granatyr has joined manned security providers Venture Security on a one year placement as a Trainee Finance Manager.

Artur, who has been studying BSc (Hons) Financial Services Management at the University of Surrey since 2008, is spending his sandwich year placement with Venture and will return to University in September 2012 to complete the final year of his degree.

Paul Howe, Venture’s Managing Director believes, ‘This is really great news for Venture and we are delighted to have Artur on board. We haven’t taken on placement students before, however during this time of rapid growth in the business, now is the ideal time to bring Artur into the team.  Artur has developed many skills through his degree that will be an asset to Venture and we are looking forward to getting him started’.

Artur, who is originally from Poland, has been in the UK since 2004. In 2008 he took the decision to build on his interest in financial management and enrolled at the University of Surrey, which has an excellent reputation for business admin courses.  

Artur officially takes up post on Monday 1stAugust 2011.
