Part time SIA Security Officer Devizes, Wiltshire

Job description

We are looking for a part time SIA Security Officer to join our team to assist with a contract in Devizes, Wiltshire.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £6,200.00 per year. Officer will be paid £24.00 per day.

This contract involves the locking and unlocking of an office building every weekday. The role includes:

  • Conducting external and internal patrols of the customer’s site ensuring the security of buildings and assets
  • Follow assignment instructions (AIs) accurately and in a professional manner
  • Utilise dedicated technology which includes, but is not limited to key access systems, mobile applications and patrol timekeeping systems
  • Maintain effective communication with the Mobile Security Supervisor ensuring that issues are raised and dealt with promptly and effectively

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, unlocks to take place between 06:00hrs and 07:00hrs. Locks to take place between 20:00hrs and 21:00hrs

10 visits each week. Each visit will take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete.

The Person

This role would suit someone who has recently retired or is looking to boost their income.

Qualifications

The officer at this site must have a valid SIA licence, although will not necessarily need a frontline licence. The position is open to someone holding a:

  • Non Front-line Licence
  • Security Guarding (SG)
  • Door Supervision (DS)
  • Close Protection (CP)
