Meet some of our veteran colleagues

Terry dedicated 25 years to the Army, starting in an Infantry role before transitioning primarily to Administration and Human Resources. Over the course of his service, he participated in multiple operational tours, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Northern Ireland. Following his military career, he was invited to join Capita, where he spent nine years working in Army recruitment. He then gained experience in the civilian sector with a high street recruitment agency before taking on his current position as the People Administrator at Venture Security.

Venture benefits greatly from its proximity to a strong local Armed Forces community, with Tidworth Garrison and Larkhill located near our headquarters. Terry has brought invaluable insight into the transition process for soldiers, enabling our team to effectively identify and develop talent within this skilled and disciplined demographic.

Ludo joined Venture in 2015 and has since excelled in various areas across the business, from event support to full-time static guarding, consistently demonstrating professionalism and adaptability. His extensive background includes over 10 years as a Royal Air Force Officer in the Volunteer Reserve Training Branch, where he played a pivotal role in mentoring and developing future leaders.

Ludo’s remarkable dedication has been recognized with numerous prestigious accolades, including:

Long Service Medals for 32 years in the Fire Service and over 12 years with the Cadet Forces
Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, awarded in honour of his exceptional contributions
Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), presented by HRH Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace
