One day or two? It depends on your workplace.
Lower-risk workplaces like offices and shops usually need Emergency First Aid at Work. Higher-risk sites, larger teams and anywhere with machinery usually need the full First Aid at Work. Your first aid needs assessment decides it, and the HSE guidance walks you through it.

Taught by people who deal with real incidents, not just the slides.
Our security officers are often first on scene at sites across the south, and your trainers bring those incidents into the room. The theory is done online before you arrive, so most of your classroom time goes on practice: CPR, using a defibrillator, the recovery position and bandaging.

First aid questions
How many first aiders does my workplace need?
There’s no fixed number. The law asks you to assess your own risks and staff numbers, and the HSE’s needs-assessment guidance gives suggested ratios. If you’re unsure, call us and we’ll talk it through.
How long is the certificate valid?
Three years. Before a First Aid at Work certificate runs out you can take the one-day requalification instead of the full course.
What’s the e-learning?
Online theory you complete at home before your classroom day, so the time with your trainer is spent practising. You get access as soon as you book.
Can I book just for myself?
Yes. Plenty of people book their own place, for a new job, volunteering or peace of mind. Choose a date above and pay online.
Book one place, or a date for your team.
Choose a date online, or tell us about your team and we’ll find one.
