Situation

Animal Friends Insurance is an award-winning pet insurance specialist with a commitment to supporting animal welfare charities around the world. The company is one of the largest pet insurance providers in the UK and employs around 350 people at its site in Amesbury, Wiltshire.

Task

In 2017, following serious ongoing problems with the previous provider, Animal Friends decided to put its security contract out to tender. The company wanted to work with someone they could trust and rely on. After meeting with three providers and impressed by the team’s experience and work ethos, Venture was awarded the contract.

Action

With two large buildings on site, Animal Friends had previously managed its own locking and unlocking. Venture now provides this service, being flexible around the needs of the business. Key areas are checked and in emergency and alarm situations Venture’s team is on site in under 20 minutes. Animal Friends sees Venture as a valuable addition to the team and with the addition of the updated CCTV and access control system, has complete peace of mind that the site and assets are being protected.
