Venture has been providing frontline defence for LCB’s Dinton Wood Storage Facility in Salisbury since 2017. Set in 100 acres of secluded woodland on the site of a former Military RAF ammunition storage depot, LCB Dinton encompasses various buildings and a series of heavily reinforced concrete subterranean chambers, embedded within the hillside.

The company called on Venture’s services following a poor experience with a previous supplier, where consistency, quality, capability and reliability was lacking. This included officers regularly turning up late, meaning LCB had to resolve guarding duties that should have been fulfilled thoroughly by the contractor. LCB also received little communication from the security provider.
