Technology specialist, Senko Advanced Components, based in Basingstoke is a subsidiary of SENKO. As a global leader in the field of optical interconnect products, SENKO has 14 offices and dozens of design and manufacturing facilities spread across the world.
The company’s UK base in Basingstoke features office space and warehousing and employs approximately 32 members of staff.
Venture was contacted by SENKO in 2020 when the company began looking into options for local key holding and alarm response services. The team at SEKO was impressed by Venture’s experience and communication and subsequently awarded them the contract.
Prior to working with Venture, responsibility for responding to alarms and attending the site out of hours had generally fallen to the warehouse manager. This included being called to the premises in the early hours several times and on one occasion even arriving to find the police on site looking for an escaped prisoner.
Believing there had to be a better – and safer – way SENKO began researching local security providers who may be able to help. Venture now handles all alarm activations, relieving employees of the need to attend at unsocial hours and the possibility of confronting intruders.
